Our Story

 

At The Dessert Nest, we specialize in handcrafted, small-batch gourmet desserts made with love, creativity, and premium ingredients. From rich cake jars and soft mini cookies to perfectly frosted cupcakes and custom treats, our desserts are designed to make any occasion extra sweet.

Our story began in New York City, where a passion for hosting meaningful events led to the launch of Divas in the City in 2006 — a brand focused on curating empowering experiences for women. That vision soon expanded into Gift of Gab Events, LLC, a full-service event planning company where we created unforgettable celebrations throughout NYC and beyond.

 

As our events grew, so did the details — especially our custom candy and dessert tables. When sourcing treats became a challenge, we started baking them ourselves. What started as an extension of our event services quickly became a fan favorite, with clients requesting our desserts long after the party was over.

 

That passion gave rise to Gabs Gourmet Goodies, which now lives under The Dessert Nest — a cozy, elevated dessert brand bringing gourmet treats to our new home base in Roswell, Georgia.
